Description

Register Your Interest
Throughout this course you will learn how to create a scrapbook. We will teach you how to create pages using frames, embellishments and more. We will also help you understand how to support your child's learning and development through crafting.

Courses start throughout the year, subject to sufficient interest. You will be contacted when the next course is available for enrolment.

Course aim
Find out how to make a scrapbook and various ways to enhance your memories. You will find out how to support your childs’ learning and development.

Course Outcomes
a) Find out how to make a range of embellishments for scrapbooking. b) Find out how to support your child’s learning and development. c) To find out how to create a scrapbook d) To gain new skills, knowledge and confidence in a positive learning environment.

How will the course be taught?
Online with group and individual activities, demonstrations and step by step instructions. A resource pack will be provided for you to use throughout this course.

What do I need to bring / have ready?
All the below listed resources are optional except the top row. You will work through the course and be shown ways to create embellishments from old items you may have around the house. Card (can use old cereal boxes if needed) Pen/pencils, glue, scissors, ribbon/string ruler and other items to decorate if wanted. Optional: Buttons, old clean sweet wrappers, old wrapping paper, old newspapers/magazines, drinks stirrers/lolly sticks. A resource pack will be provided with some basic resources but we will encourage the use of recycling materials from home.
